About Leadership Safari

Safari sets the stage for you to find your leadership voice. Leadership is not always the loudest voice in the room. Here, we know it can be quiet and mighty all at once. Leadership is leading from the back and defined by your actions, not your title. It is leading with integrity and your heart and keeping promises. Your time at Central Michigan University begins when you find your voice and passions.

If you’re like many of our new students, you go after every opportunity and take advantage of the new and unknown. Most new students — freshmen and transfer students — participate in this three-day program An added perk? You get to move in early!

Leadership Safari 2024 will be held August 20th through 22nd. Registration will open on May 1, 2024.
